News release issued September 2008:
Diners in Gorey, Co Wexford, were devastated when Eco, their favourite eatery on the Main Street, closed its doors. But now you’ll find Dave Lavelle, former owner of Eco, plying his trade at The Chantry in Bunclody.

The Chantry is well known for its beautiful setting at the foot of the Blackstairs, complete with attractive gardens running alongside the River Slaney. As well as opening daily, it will now offer evening meals three nights a week - Thursday, Friday and Saturday – where diners will be able to enjoy the surrounding art by local artists while enjoying the varied evening menu.

Parents will be delighted to hear that children’s meals are free every Thursday from 5-7pm. This offer makes it easy for parents to drop in with their children in the evening, making sure everyone has a nutritious meal before the evening rush of activities.

To contact The Chantry, Bunclody, telephone 00 353 53 937 7482

Note: SpellCheck is currently running a publicity campaign for The Chantry involving local and national media
