Klassy Dress Hire on TV3 style show

Glamour all the way in Clonegal

TV3 came to Clonegal in style last week when the presenter and crew from style show Xposé visited Klassy Dress Hire’s premises to do a feature on this unique Carlow business.

“I got a call from Sybil Mulcahy, the show’s presenter, who had seen a dress of mine and wanted to know more,” said Barbara O’Connor, proprietor of the popular glamorous formalwear studio tucked away in the hills surrounding Clonegal on the Wexford-Carlow border.

The show featured footage of models showcasing some of the extensive range of Black Tie, Debs, bridesmaids and maternity formalwear to hire or buy at Barbara’s studio. “The phone  has not stopped ringing  since the show was broadcast and I’ve arranged appointments with people from as far away as Mayo and Kerry,” said Barbara, adding that her studio and private appointments offer clients the flexibility and space to find the best outfit for their shape. “The team from TV3 were really impressed with the quality and size of the collection which includes designs from Tiffany Bling and Bari Jay, a glamorous range from New York, at reasonable prices.”

Klassy Dress Hire & Sales was founded in 2005 and is now run by Barbara. With the increase in formal events and the rise in costs associated with getting the perfect ‘outfit’, she saw a gap in the market and offered a hire range which provides choice and style in sizes 6 to 26 without the costs or hassle associated with high street outlets.

Starting out in Debs and Bridesmaids’ wear, Klassy Dress Hire expanded into Black Tie gowns and just recently launched the Klassy Mama formal maternity range. Klassy Dress Hire offers matching accessories such as bags, shawls and jewellery to complement your outfit, making Klassy Dress Hire the one stop shop for entire outfit whether you decide to rent or buy!

TV3’s Xposé programme featuring Klassy Dress Hire is still available to view on http://www.tv3.ie/videos.php?video=7084&locID=1.65.68 for those who missed it on TV3 or 3e.
